When it’s game time and your embedded design requires a portable memory device for authentication or data transfer applications, you aren’t limited to choosing between a USB flash drive or an SD card.
Customize a Datakey portable memory device that is designed for the specific needs of your application. Choose from over 500 standard portable memory products or customize a product to your liking.

Select a Memory Technology
Choose from these non-volatile memory technologies.
- NAND Flash (TLC, pSLC) is used in the RUGGEDrive line.
- NOR Flash is used in the Serial Memory line.
- EEPROM is used in the Serial Memory line.
- Secure EEPROM is used in the CryptoAuthentication line.
- Other/Custom memory options might include FRAM or even a microcontroller.

Select a Memory Capacity
These are the standard memory capacity options for each product family.
- RUGGEDrive (USB flash drive or SD card functionality):
4 GB, 8 GB, 16 GB, 32 GB, 64 GB - NOR Flash-based Keys and Tokens (Serial Memory):
2 Mb, 4 Mb, 8 Mb, 32 Mb, 64 Mb - EEPROM-based Keys and Tokens (Serial Memory):
1 Kb, 2 Kb, 4 Kb, 16 Kb, 64 Kb, 256 Kb, 512 Kb - Secure EEPROM (CryptoAuthentication):
4.5 Kb, 10 Kb - Contact us for other memory capacities.

These are the standard serial interfaces for each product family.
- RUGGEDrive (USB flash drive or SD card functionality):
USB 2.0 Hi-Speed, Secure Digital (including SPI mode) - NOR Flash-based Keys and Tokens (Serial Memory):
SPI - EEPROM-based Keys and Tokens (Serial Memory):
Microwire, I2C, SPI - Secure EEPROM (CryptoAuthentication):

Choose Your Color
Choose from standard colors options or specify a custom color.
- Most Datakey memory keys and tokens are available in six standard colors.
- Black, Gray, Red, Yellow, Green, and Blue
- Color-match to your corporate or product color.

Select Your Logo Choice
Some Datakey memory products allow for a choice of logo options.
- Most products come standard with a Datakey logo.
- Some products have three logo options:

- No logo (blank)
- Custom logo

- We can laser mark memory devices with:
- Custom text
- Sequential serial number
- Graphical logo

Delta Computer Systems leveraged the existing SlimLine memory token form factor and customized it by choosing a secure memory IC (not offered by ATEK at the time) and laser marking the token with the Delta logo.
