How to Format a RUGGEDrive Memory Token

RUGGEDrive™ memory tokens (UFX, DFX and DFX-I Series) utilize Secure Digital (SD) memory. For optimal performance, when formatting or reformatting a RUGGEDrive memory token, use the SD Memory Card Formatter tool. This free utility can be downloaded from the SD Association's website, http://www.sdcard.org.

Using the formatting tool in Windows will successfully format RUGGEDrive tokens, but performance may be decreased, when compared to a new token or one formatted with the SD Memory Card Formatter tool.
