Debris Plug with Tether for SlimLine Receptacles
The debris plug for Datakey SlimLine token receptacles is used to keep dust, dirt and debris from getting into the pocket of a receptacle. The debris plug is made of thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV) that allows it to conform to the pocket of the SlimLine receptacles. The snug fit of the plug along with the retention features help to keep the plug securely in place. The debris plug with tether includes a coated, stainless steel cable looped through the debris plug's eyelet and is terminated with a ring terminal allowing it to be secured near the receptacle using a #4 screw. This keeps the debris plug secure and in close proximity when it is not inserted into the receptacle opening.
Note: The IP rating associated with each SlimLine receptacle is independent of whether a debris token is inserted or not.
