KeyLink II Development Kit

The KeyLink II Development Kit provides all the necessary tools to build a simulated system to test its abilities and benefits. It is a cost-effective way to bring your products to market faster, reduce design and production cost, and to respond quickly to changing market demands. Each kit includes (1) KeyLink II Programmer, (1) KC4210 panel-mount receptacle, (1) KC4210PCB board-mount receptacle, PC demo software with source code (on CD) and (2) customer-specified key samples. The demo software is a Windows application that includes read, write and erase functionality. In addition to the sample application, the CD also includes user manuals, Datakey serial DLL & header file, and USB drivers.

In addition to being a useful tool during the development cycle, the KeyLink II Development Kit can also be utilized during the life of the product as a known good solution to compare against if problems arise in your host system. The user can quickly pinpoint root cause of failure by using the development kit to verify the data carrier, receptacle and cabling. For new applications the KeyLink III Development Kit is recommended.
