KeyLink III Development Kit

The KeyLink III Development Kit provides a convenient way to write data to and read data from a Datakey Serial Memory key using a Windows PC. Sample applications are provided along with source code and project files. Choose from C++, C# or Visual Basic. Each kit includes:

• (1) KeyLink III programmer
• (1) KC4210 panel-mount key receptacle
• (1) KC4210PCB board-mount key receptacle
• (1) USB flash drive with software, documentation and drivers
• (2) customer-specified Serial Memory key samples

The software includes sample Windows applications that include read, write and erase functionality. The source code for the sample applications is included and demonstrates the functions included in the DLL. The sample applications can be used as-is, or modified to suit specific needs. In addition to the sample applications, the flash drive also includes user manuals, DLL & header files, and WinUSB driver files. The sample applications, installers, source code and project files are provided in the following formats:

• Visual Basic Visual Studio 2022

In addition to being a useful tool during the development cycle, the KeyLink III Development Kit can also be utilized during the life of the product as a known-good solution to compare against if problems arise in your embedded system. The user can use the development kit to verify the contents of the memory token with a known-good system.
