The KC4210PCB Keyceptacle access device is a space-saving interface connector for all Datakey’s serial memory keys. Designed to mount directly onto your printed circuit board, it is more compact than the panel-mount Keyceptacle and requires less front panel space. Like all Datakey access devices, the KC4210PCB provides reliable connection over a long operating life. It is rated for a minimum of 200,000 key insertions and removals. The KC4210PCB also contains a Last-On/First-Off (LOFO) switch that may be used to protect the host bus by ensuring that keys have made secure contact with the Keyceptacle before any signals are transmitted.
