Click to download the Datakey Series III Install Software Version 2.2 that is included with all Datakey Series III programmers, including the KeyLink III, SlimLink III, BarLink III, KSDLink III and Unitroller III programmers. This is the software (part number 180-0394-000 Rev. G) that comes on the USB flash drive and includes: Windows driver files, sample Windows applications and documentation. This software runs on Microsoft Windows 10 and Windows 11 and utilizes Microsoft's WinUSB driver. The previous version of the software used an older kernel-mode driver which could generate a Code 39 error when installing the driver on Windows 10 and Windows 11 computers with certain security features enabled. This latest version of the software resolves this issue.
Note: This download is not the SDK software that includes the source code and project files for the sample applications that is included with Datakey Series III development kits. That software is not available for download.

This product change notification (PCN) documents a change made to production equipment in ATEK Access Technologies' Brainerd, Minnesota manufacturing facility. As part of ATEK's commitment to investing in our manufacturing capabilities, we recently replaced one of our injection molding machines. This horizontal press is used to mold many of the housing components that are used in Datakey receptacles. This machine is also used to make many of the plastic components in our Plug memory token products. While the machine itself is brand new, the same tooling that has been used in the past will continue to be used with the new machine. Likewise, there will be no changes to the materials used to mold these products. In fact, there are no changes to the form, fit, or function of any of the products made on this machine. This PCN is simply a notification that a new machine is being used to make the parts listed on this PCN. See the PDF for full details.
